Slide Gates Commercial

Slide Gates Commercial and Industrial

Hardy Fence has installed literally “hundreds” of Slide Gates in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.  We have an in house fabrication facility and use digital Millermatic 252’s with Argon gas to make sure our welds fuse the metal through the backside of the material.  This ensures the welds are stronger than the material itself.  Hardy Fence also purchases its material by the 18 wheeler load and stores the material inside a climate controlled facility.  We commonly ship 30-40 foot gates on 18 wheelers to our jobsites throughout the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex and surrounding cities.

Slide Gate Uses

A Slide Gate is used when there is heavy traffic or limited space behind the secured facility, so the gate runs parallel to the fence or wall.  Slide Gates are also used when a drive has a grade or slope that may interfere with the bottom of a Swing Gate System.  Slide Gates are extremely stable over time and ideal for security applications.  These gates can be designed and built as vehicle entry barriers.

Hardy Fence Slide Gates are typically built with an 11 gauge 2×4 at the bottom and the remainder of the frame is 11 gauge 2×2 and 3×4” vertical pickets.  These gates can easily weigh over 1000lbs and feature sealed bearing V-track wheels.

Slide Gate Operators

Hardy Fence Slide Gate Operators range from light to heavy-duty depending on the size of the entrance, gate material, and quantity of open/close cycles. Slide Gate Operators are available in low voltage, solar or on grid applications.  Our Design Consultants can integrate your Gate Operating System into your garage Operating System.  Be sure to point out your garage door operators to us during the site visit.  We’ll do our best to outfit your gate with a receiver that’s compatible with your system to allow you to use one remote for all operators.

An Automatic Gate system includes several components, all of which must be selected in concert with each other and with the requirements of the job.
To learn more about the Slide Gate Operators see our Gate Operator page or give us a call.  We’re here to help and can easily answer your questions to help design your Gate entry system.
