Arched Swing Gates
Hardy Fence custom builds our Arched Iron Gates in our Fort Worth facility. We take pride in building our gates and overbuild them with the thought they may be climbed on from time to time. In fact, Hardy fence uses 2” x 11 gauge steel on the structural side and 2” x 14 gauge steel on the inside frame. We typically use a 7” fully adjustable hinge set with bearings. This is critical when adjusting the gate without issue later on. Our gates are finished with 16 gauge x ¾” vertical pickets. Most of our competitors use ½” or 5/8” pickets. As you can imagine this makes a huge visual difference from the street.
Advantages of building Gates in house
The Hardy Fence metal is primed at the factory and prior to being painted is stored “inside” our facility to prevent rust. After being custom fabricated with one of our Millermatic 252, MIG and argon welder gas systems they are re-primed and painted with Sherwin Williams Industrial Enamel or Powder coated. A new drive gate can add a substantial amount of security to your home.
